The heart of Scribble Tone
Lizy Gershenzon and Travis Kochel started working together over four years ago in Chicago, IL. An affection for nature—and curiosity of other cultures—led them to New Zealand in early 2008, where they officially started Scribble Tone.
Inspired by a talented network of designers and developers, Scribble Tone continued to grow and produce new work over the following two years. Expired visas and a love of family brought them back to the States, where they set up shop in the beautiful and forward-thinking Portland, Oregon.
With their strong partnership, hard work and love of good design, Lizy and Travis continue to push Scribble Tone forward. Often, they collaborate with a core group of talented creatives and developers to form the best team for each project. Because of this, Scribble Tone is able to offer a broad range of expertise, and tackle large projects.
In addition, Lizy and Travis set aside time for personal projects, bringing new perspectives and value to client work. Travis enjoys designing typefaces and recently launched Chartwell, an opentype font that makes graphs. Lizy has been hard at work on The Web Therapist, which offers pre-fab web solutions to make creating a web presence a little easier.
