Wildberry

Wildberry is based on the brushy lettering found on U.S. National Wilderness signage.

Our goal was to create something that still had the energy and playfulness of the source, but iron out some of the awkwardness and inconsistencies. The imperfections work well for the signage—emphasized by weathering and varying sign production methods—but a few liberties had to be taken to make it work as a typeface.
